Paris Air Show greets the Public!

Starting today, the 46th Paris Air show opens its doors to the public. Unlike previous years, the air show will be open to the public for a single weekend only, stretching from Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 19. The most eagerly awaited flight demonstration is of the Airbus A380 of course, but other impressive aircraft will make an appearance, including the Falcon 7X, Rafale, Mirage 2000 and many more top performers.

Hispano-Suiza ETRAS for the A380: towards the “more electric” aircraft

Hispano-Suiza plays a major role on the new Airbus A380, as supplier of the new electrical thrust reverser actuation system, or ETRAS. This innovative system, a world first in commercial aviation, eliminates the need for hydraulic circuits on this important function. We talked with Jamil Dirani, Vice President Sales, Support and Services at Hispano-Suiza.
