TP400-D6 to run at next Paris Air Show
   

But while waiting for this milestone, just two weeks prior to the opening of the show, EPI successfully tested the engine's control system, with representatives of both Airbus and joint procurement agency OCCAR on hand. This was a major step in the development of the turboprop engine that will power the A400M, Europe's future military transport. The control system is produced by Snecma and Hispano-Suiza, in conjunction with MTU.
